Older men That's what you call the high kids from the city UMN Come to the country to teach you graffiti Heaven sent they'll pitch tents while you sit pretty You can't wait to go can't wait to expand can't wait to get down to your first summer camp of love! Seventeen a lot more mature than any boy your age sweaty clean Remember him fondly, remember him always moving on there's a lot more firsts coming up and calling You won't have to leave the fun that you'll have the answers you'll find there in damp sleeping bags You can't wait to go can't wait to expand can't wait to get down to your first summer camp of love!

It's all a bunch of printed noise A swarm of letters with the headlines taken out That's the story of the other news When you have such a lovely voice No one cares about the sense you're making That's the story of the other news That's the story but it won't get through That's the story of the other news That's the story (don't break my heart) That's the story of the other news

These Trails 03:45
You can't get out there too early to see the scenery far and near but all the scenery that I see are footprints everywhere These trails I'm walking on do they stray or do they lead to you? I don't know I just keep on these trails I'm supposed to watch my step here without ever asking why but everywhere without a guard rail is called a death trap now by folks who didn't die These trails I'm walking on do they stray or do they lead to you? I don't know I just keep on these trails Know I should look around and see what is in the sky and get my mind blown But my eyes are on the ground, you see I'm searching for a spot to leave a foot print of my own These trails I'm walking on do they stray or do they lead to you? I don't know I just keep on these trails

What the fuck is wrong with you?

I said something worthwhile Been saving it for days it pulled the corners of your smile and washed across your face and I'm starting to realize I could easily spend my whole life only trying to light up your Pete Townsend eyes You're prone to get distracted and gaze into the abyss so when you're bored it's never personal but when you're not it always is and I'm staring to realize I could easily spend my whole life always trying to light up your Pete Townsend eyes (they flash at me like cameras hope I didn't make a face just then) (I try to turn my good side going in your scrapbook again)

Four Winds 03:04
Everytime you fall every time the rivers foam The keys to your apartment can't unlock your childhood home Walk out through the streets in the foggy night Parent's got you covered Friends won't let you fall apart Give them all you got you owe them all a brand new start Four winds in your back Four winds to carry you back home Everywhere you turn in every door a ghost appears Save up all you want, that store has been closed for years Walk out when it's dim, and you can't even see You search with half your heart in the other half you know that The things you lose aren't always where you lost them at Four winds in your back Four winds to carry you back home

about

Macca/Jawaka: Songs from the Teenage Equator is the sixth studio album by The Switch, following up on last years psychedelic hi fi odyssey, Birds of Paradise.

Macca/Jawaka is slightly rougher around the edges, but touches on many of the same themes - childhood, nature, jazzy improvisation and dreamy vocal harmonies.
